A belated blogpost to simply note and mourn the passing of a humungous giantess of a woman, Aotearoa-New Zealand's very own crusading injustice reformer, the indomitable and *doughty parenting 'guru' Celia Lashlie...
...you were better than we deserved, yet hardly anyone, even in Parliament, noted your passing, much less any noted obituary notice in our local news rag anyhow - -I believe I observed only a tiny note hid in some obscure corner of one edition...but you wouldn't have cared, and you'll have the last laugh as it were, you'll be remembered long after today's celebrities have long since bitten the dust...
Rest in peace, Celia, and may you be one of those heavenly 'surprises' to greet God's Own on That Day...
